William Triche Obituary

William A. Triche, age 76, a longtime Colorado Springs resident passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2005 in Colorado Springs. Bill was born to Homer and Gladys (Geisler) Triche on October 2, 1929, in Patterson, Louisiana. His parents preceded him in death. Bill was never married. Bill was a graduate of Texas A&M where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical and Industrial Engineering. He was an engineer and retired from Colorado Interstate Gas Company and Costal Corp. He was a First Lt. in the U.S. Army. Bill attended and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a life member of the Colorado Springs Masonic Lodge #76 and a plural life member of Cripple Creek Lodge #96. Additional life memberships were held in the Scottish Rite 32 degree, El Paso County Past Masters Association, Colorado York Rite Masons and the Royal Order of Scotland. A wide circle of friends from church, former colleagues and Masonic groups survive Bill. Contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m., First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. A Masonic burial rite will be held at the graveside in the family plot in Morgan City, Louisiana.

Well, Mr. Bill, we will all miss you.



After some 14 years of playing golf and partying together plus numerous discussions about the Southwest Conference, ie: The Aggies and SMU, we developed a good friendship.



Friends are hard to make and even harder to keep.Your friendship will be long remembered.
