William E. Wilson III, aged 63, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on May 1, 2025. Born on March 19, 1962, Bill, was a master electrician and a respected Colorado electrical contractor. Owner and operator of Wilson Electric, he provided exemplary service and mentorship within the electrical industry.
Bill was a man of many passions. Alongside his wife, Donna, he relished the freedom of riding their Harleys. His competitive spirit shone brightly in his love for playing darts and pool, participating actively in various leagues and enjoying the camaraderie and challenge they brought.
Described by those who knew him as incredibly kind and a gentle soul, Bill was a dedicated family man. He leaves behind a loving family: his children, Chris, Justin, Samantha, and Ryan, along with ten beautiful grandchildren, all of whom reside in Texas. He is also survived by his sister, Michele Bass of North Carolina. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, David, sister, Pam, and his parents.
A celebration of life was held on June 7, 2025, with his sons Chris and Ryan making the journey from Texas to honor their father. The gathering reflected Bill's spirit and the profound impact he had on those around him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

I was referred to Bill through a friend of mine and had Bill come over to help me install some ceiling fans and drill holes in my ceiling. I watched Bill work and I knew right away that Bill was an amazing electrician and down to earth guy that would do anything to help anyone in need! Through Bill I also got to talk to his wife Donna who I never met in person but I knew that she had an amazing and funny personality. Last time I talked to Bill (2022), he was telling me about his plans to work somewhere North in Colorado and live in his RV for a short period of time until his job was done! I really hope he got to do whatever he wanted and fulfill all his dreams!

I met you in 2006, and we married in 2009. We had so much fun together. You were quite the man. Handsome, tall, great personality, kind and you were one hell of an Electrician. You took care of your family, your workers, your customers, friends and every animal I brought home. I was always so proud of you. We gave each other the freedom to live, freedom to trust and to love. I love you always, memories will stay in my heart, until we ride again.
