We will never forget our sweet, funny friend! We are forever grateful to have had him as a friend; for all the wonderful conversations we had and like Bill would say "we could talk forever and never have the same conversations twice." Thank you for cooking those perfect breakfasts! And for loving our family, they all love you. We love you Bill, and will remember the good times!

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I am so glad I was able to come to the house to see him a couple weeks ago. Bill was a super long time friend of my family. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to the family. I won't be able to attend the service, but the memories will last forever.

Grandpa, I have so many memories! The Valley Forge Army Hospital stories, delivering mail to me, the rubber band balls, The Lone Ranger, The B-52 Bomber, Spike Jones, baseball in the back yard, Lawn mower rides, Major Payne, Wheaties, Pancakes, "shaving", Poker nights, The Lincoln Memorial, The St. Louis Arch, my first car, Brandon's Wedding...

You were there for all my graduations, for all my accomplishments, and all my failures so far. You held my hand when I was afraid of the lightening, and took me to see air shows at the Air Force Academy. Even as I got older, you were always there for a life lesson, or a hug. Even when you were in the hospital and barely able to move, you gave me a hug...

I will miss you...so much, but luckily enough, you passed on enough of your knowledge to me that I feel like you're always with me, and for that, I am forever grateful. You taught me to count my pennies, and to make careful decisions rather than hasty or rash ones, and you showed me how to live life as a respectable man. And like you asked me to, before I left after seeing you for the last time, I will take care of grandma and my mom.

I love you, grandpa...pop pop....and I always will...and I will continue to make you proud...

The next time I see a dandelion, I'll make sure to rub it under my chin... :)

Nobody could light up a room like you, Uncle Bill. Your mentoring, invaluable. Those four days in November with you and Aunt Jean were the best. When you came to Pennsylvania it was always a special occasion for all of us. I'm so proud of you and will fondly spread your tales the rest of my days. Rest in Peace my friend.
