In loving memory of "Ed" Singer, age 85, who passed away on July 16, 2022 surrounded by his wife and family in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A native of Colorado, Ed joined the United States Air Force after he graduated from Elizabeth High School. After serving four years he entered the electronics industry. He was an engineer at heart, working as a salesman and then an entrepreneur in the fabrication industry. There was no challenge that he would leave unsolved.
He loved to camp, travel, fish, golf and spend time with family. Ed was an avid gardener and learned to turn beautiful creations from wood. He was a Denver Bronco's season ticket holder and never missed a home game in over forty years.
Ed's spirit was always in the helper mode, whether it was a friend, neighbor or family member, he was there to assist in any way needed. While he was a reserved gentleman, he had a wonderful knack for kidding around and making others smile.
Most of all, Ed loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren were the most important part of his life. Through the years his family called home to Colorado Springs, Broomfield, and Lakewood, Colorado.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mildred Singer; his brother, Ron Singer; and his grandson, Justin Singer.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Tim (Angelina) Singer, Mark (Anna) Singer, Ken (Jeanne) Singer, and Lisa (Bruce) Lockwood. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; his sister, Eileen Morrissey; and many nieces and nephews.
Ed's final gift was to donate his body to science through the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
