Just wanted to wish a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today! I love you and miss you much!

liz, when I read this in the email my heart was crushed. I loved your mom's soul. She was so geniune. and God is the happiest of them all cause when your mom put it down in heaven like she did on earth (God will be pleased) she will earn her wings and a crown real soon if not already. I will miss her and her favorite dishes, especially her PEACH COBBLER AND HOMEMADE ROLLS. I love and will miss you, Liz Mama(as I called her). Dee,Jamaal and Tristan.

Liz - my heart goes out to you and as you know Angela and I were shocked to get this news. I want you to remember that although she is not here with you physically - she'll be with you every day guiding your steps spiritually.

Liz: I can't tell you how shocked and sad I was to learn about Aunt Wilma! She'll always be in my heart and I'm a better person for having known and loved her. What a beautiful spirit and character! My prayers go out to you and your family.

I adored my "Aunt Wilma" and she adored me. I miss her so much, expecially those early morning phone calls. And I know she was extremely HAPPY when she died. How could it get any better than that???

You slipped away before we got a chance to see you again. I know, by the help and grace of God, we will meet again in the presence of the Lord. We will miss you greatly as we feel like an extention of your family. You are loved by many and treasured by all.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I met your mom once at the hospital, and I was most impressed with her sweetness and caring. Liz I know you will miss her, but take comfort in knowing she is resting at peace. Take good care.

I am very sad to hear of this great and tremendous loss. Remember God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Would like to encourage the family to continue to look to Jesus for strength, comfort and joy. The Bible says that the LORD Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first...Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord (First Thessalonians 4:16-18). The Bible instructs us to comfort one another with these words. God will keep His promise! God bless and keep each of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm sorry for the family of Wilma Bumpers,my prayers will always be with you. Ms.bumpers has been braiding my hair since I was 14,I am now 24. Thank you for all your support. I love and will miss you!

Wilma will certainly be missed by all of us. We extend our prayers and deepest sympathy to the family.

We will all miss her here @ Pepboys- she was a great lady whom everybody here knew and loved. We are all at a great loss.

Liz, I am sad to hear about the transition of your mother but I rejoice in reading about the legacy she has left behind as well as knowning that She has now joined the Ancestral Realm and will forever kiss(bless) your eyelids.

I AM VERY SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS. I AM PROUD TO HAVE KNOWN MS BUMPERS. SHE HELP MY FAMILY MORE THEN I COULD EVER SAY. I THANK GOD I GOT TO KNOW HER AND RECEIVED THE LOVE SHE GAVE ME AND MY FAMILY. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

When my family first moved here to C.Spgs in 1970, Mrs.Bumpers did my sisters and my hair. I bought the most beautiful suits from Mrs. Bumpers when I became an adult. I will always remember her generosity and giving spirit she always exuded to others. My condolences to her family.

My condolences and prayers go out to the family. Your loss is shared by so many people who have long standing memories of Wilma Bumpers. Peace and God's comfort to you all.

When I was about 12, Mrs. Bumpers would come by and pick up all the neighborhood kids in an old brown van, we would all pile in and try not to smash her hats that were in the back. She would bring food every Sunday with her to church so that children wouldn't be hungry all day. Myself and two other little girls would spend many weekends at her house (she read her bible and we banged on the piano and played dress up with all the clothes she had). She took me to fashion shows and included me in most everything she did and I am grateful for the time she gave. I was witness to her compassion for others and experienced what a giving woman she was. I watched, as a young girl, her allowing so many people to come into her home, until they could get on their feet. She had an enormous affect on the adult I became. She was truly an Angel on earth, and there are not many around like her. I love her and will miss her!

To Ms Bumpers family, so sorry for your tragic loss. Angels are only loaned to us for a short time, cherish her memories. I remember when Ms Daniels and Ms Bumpers shop was on Pikes Peak Avenue (long time ago)May God comfort you in your grief.
