I first met Ms. Sakamoto in the mid 80's in a sewing class, while I was in between jobs. It was her warm, welcoming presence that kept me thinking of her throughout the years, long after the sewing class of Mr. Mark's closed. One afternoon on Clement St., about seven years ago, I was fortunate to meet up with Ms. Sakamoto again. Such a lovely lady! Genuine and soft spoken, beautiful inside and out. I will remember her with much fondness.
