Yvonne Delores Pierson of Colorado passed away August 10, 2022 at her home.
She was born May 9, 1961 to Charles and Rita Sargent in Lowell, Massachusetts.
Yvonne went to Widefield High School and graduated in 1979. She went on to earn an accounting degree and worked as an accountant for numerous businesses in Colorado Springs, Colorado for over forty years. She was involved in volunteering with different agencies and helping those less fortunate. She enjoyed walking, hiking, workouts, boating, movies, and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rita Sargent.
Yvonne is survived by her life partner, Michael Pierson; brother, Kenneth Sargent; sister-in-law, Karen Ferreira; brother-in-law, Edward Pierson; Tameka Pierson; nephew, Samuel Pierson; and her forever labrador companion, Bailey (AKA Bubbles).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Pikes Peak Humane Society (https://www.hsppr.org) and West Side Cares (https://www.westsidecares.org).

We at Westside CARES send our deepest sympathies to all whose lives were touched by Yvonne´s big, beautiful heart. Yvonne made food deliveries to our most vulnerable neighbors at the height of the pandemic. She loved our neighbors, and they loved her, sometimes baking cookies for her heroic efforts to keep them safe and well. She was joyful about these deliveries, and we were honored to partner with her during that time: she made a big difference for a lot of people.
