Yvonne Vaughn Obituary
She was born April 10, 1929 in Affinity, West Virginia to Granville L. and Zora Jane (Epling) Lilly as the eleventh child in a family of twelve children. She was the last member of her family to depart this world.
She was married to James D. Vaughn in Crab Orchard, WV on June 11, 1949. James was in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Bliss, and their first home was in El Paso. They resided there for the first six years of their lives together. She found the Lord in January, 1982 at Gateway Baptist Church in Irmo, South Carolina, six years after their retirement from the service. She immediately became a loving, caring, helpful and giving person to those in her church and neighborhood.
She will be sorely missed.
Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, James; two wonderful sons, James Jr. and Geoffrey; three grandchildren, Michael - Flagstaff, Arizona, Jennifer - Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Christopher - Longmont, CO. All of whom she loved dearly.
God rest her Soul!
