ZACHARY MICHAEL LITHERLAND
September 30, 1988 September 13, 2018
Zachary Michael Litherland, 29, passed away on September 13th in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Zack was born on September 30th, 1988 and grew up in the Colorado mountains that embodied everything he loved about life.
Throughout his life and in all seasons, Zack could be found outside. Whether it is was camping, rafting, snowboarding, hunting, fishing, or being with his dog, Jackson. Zack loved it all. From a young age, Zack worked for his family business, Summer Property Services, and was instrumental in the success of the day to day operations. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in March of 2013, completed basic training, and was stationed at Peterson Air Force Base. Zack's happiness was found in his family and friends. His love for his great-grandparents, grandparents, and all the children around him was unwavering.
Zachary was unconditionally loved and adored by those who knew him and his loss will be felt for years and years to come. Zack's personality and love was so contagious that it will live on through those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his loving parents, John Litherland and Tami Crooks; step-parents, Larry Crooks, Courtney Clements and Lori Ondrick; his siblings, Sara (John) Ripsam, Hannah Clements, Anthony (Lacy) Huckle, Jennifer Crooks, Josh (Amanda) Crooks, Jordan Crooks; his grammie, Mylene Litherland; grandparents, David (Sally) Litherland, Johnnie (Gerry) Roark; and cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and the Summer Property Services crew
who considered him family. Zachary is preceded in death by his great-grand-parents, Gigi and Grand-Dad Mallett; Putt and Alice Litherland; and grandmother, Gayle Cox, and Maxwell.
We will be celebrating Zachary's life on October 6th, at 154 Rainbow PL, 11:00 am, in Colorado Springs. In leu of flowers please consider making a donation to SoCo Harm Reduction Association, an organization committed to helping those impacted by the opioid crisis.
