Randy Warner

12/5/1949 - 9/10/2025

Randy was born in Northwood, Ohio, in 1949 to Newell and Mary Warner. He was known for his love of planes, cars, motorcycles, and his sense of humor. Randy graduated from Northwood High School and the University of Toledo and received several other certifications including his pilot license, which was one of his many passions. Randy worked as a mailman for the United States Postal Service for 40 years in Oregon, Ohio. Randy was a proud veteran who served in the Army and Navy.

Randy passed peacefully with his daughter and grandchildren by his side at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; and his son, Randy Warner Jr. and is survived by his daughter, Heather (Bill) Straka; grandson, Austin Straka; and granddaughter, Breanna Straka.

Randy was my mailman for about 30 years he was the best mailman I ever had. Loved talking with him. Tried to always call him on veteran holidays to thank him for his service. May he rest in peace.

Dad, this is the hardest thing so many times since you´ve been gone I pick up the phone to call you but then I remember you´re not here I know you´re in heaven fishing and having a good time with Bubba my brother, and the two of you are my guardian angels watching over me someday we will all meet again until then rest in peace and know that I will be OK
