Monica Rae Vis passed away on June 23, 2025, in Albany, Oregon, at the age of 72. She was born on June 12, 1953, in Bremerton, Washington.
Monica was the beloved wife of Harold, who preceded her in death. She was a devoted mother to son Michael and his wife Kimberly, and to her daughter Sara. Monica also cherished her role as grandmother to Logan.
Her life was marked by deep love for her family and a strength that touched those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

Every morning when I worked I got Monica up and ready for the day.
We would sit in the morning and have our coffee and just talk about anything and everything. One morning I went to get her up I went to say good morning Monica but instead it came out good morning Moonie. So every time I would see her I would call her that she would know it's me. To the family I'm so sorry for you loss, your mom will be greatly missed.

My condolences on the loss of your Mother. We were in High School together and worked together for many years. Monica was a good woman. When they bought the house in town, they gave us the woodstove so they could get a pellet stove. Monica has a place in my heart forever.

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Your family lived two doors down on Tennessee Road for a number of years and Monica always had a smile and fun to talk with.
