Mary J. Eisenmann, age 90, passed away with family by her side on September 14, 2023, in Oak Creek, WI. She was born to Francis M. (Burke) and Vernor A. Haberkamp. She spent her childhood in Garner, Iowa and graduated from MacMurray College with a degree in elementary education. She taught briefly in Illinois and Iowa but spent much of her teaching career within the Madison Public Schools. In 1957 she married L. Roy C. Eisenmann in Garner Iowa. After living in Texas, Iowa, and Illinois they settled in Madison, Wisconsin where they raised their three children. Mary and Roy traveled the world, to Europe, the Caribbean, Japan, China, and Taiwan. In retirement they lived in Waunakee, Wi, Arizona, and Texas. Mary was a member of Eastern Star and PEO International. Mary is survived by daughters Jean Gilles (Bob) and Mary LaFrombois (Russ), grandchildren Michael (Shannon), Eric (Stephanie), Nathan (Nicole Barhorst) and Madeline. Also, great-grandchildren Avery, Hailey, Benjamin, and Matthew. Also, sister-in-law Muriel Haberkamp as well as nieces and nephews Eisenmann and nieces and nephews Haberkamp. Mary is predeceased by her parents, in-laws, siblings, husband Roy, son Mark C. and son-in-law Bob Gilles. Per Mary's wishes a private family gathering will take place to honor her at a future date. The family would like to thank the staff at Oak Park Place in Madison and Oak Creek.
