Stan Wilson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stan Wilson on March 20, 2025, at the age of 65. Stan courageously battled cancer before ultimately succumbing to the disease. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many. A service to celebrate Stan's life was held on May 17, 2025, at Benito and Azzaro Chapel in Santa Cruz with reception following held at Laughing Monk in Scotts Valley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Alison, and their two children, Courtney and Connor. He also leaves behind his parents, Ken and Lucille; his sister, Kathy; and his brothers, Kenny and Steve.

Stan was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and passion for the outdoors. He lived for family trips, snow skiing, motocross, boating, waterskiing, and mountain biking-always up for an adventure and always the one to bring the fun. He also volunteered many hours coaching in the Scotts Valley Little League when his son was young.

Professionally, Stan worked as a heavy equipment owner/operator and specialized in motor grader operation and construction site execution for over 35 years. He was deeply respected in his field for his integrity, loyalty, and unwavering dedication to hard work.

In addition to his family, Stan will be deeply missed by his extended network of friends and colleagues. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Stan will be forever remembered for his love and dedication to Alison, Courtney, and Connor-and for his relentless zest for life. He knew life was short, and he lived it fully. He made each day count.
