Joyce L. Reinen

1931 - 2025

Joyce L. Reinen, 93 formerly of Balsam Township, MN died on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in the Maplewoods Assisted Living in Cohasset.

Born on August 19, 1931, in Steele, North Dakota, she was the daughter of Pete and Judith (Nottestad) Bunes. She lived her early childhood in North Dakota until her family settled in Itasca County where she lived as a teenager and young adult, graduating from the Greenway High School.

She will be deeply loved and missed. Our Mom is now holding hands with our Dad.

Survivors include her children; David (Joan) Reinen, Daryl Reinen and Denise (Gary) Millard. A large group of wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and a brother; Duane "Bud" Bunes.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Will Reinen, brothers; Lorry Bunes, Denny Bunes, "Digger" Bunes, Bill Bunes and a sister; Yvonne.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 3:00-5:00 PM, on Sunday, September 7, 2025 in the Balsam Bible Chapel.
