My mom introduced me to Jim while I was attending Carroll College. When I later returned to Missoula we resumed a warm friendship. I particularly enjoyed frequent lunches at the Heidelhaus with Jim and "the usual suspects". He always had time to visit when we encountered after retirement whether at church or in a store. It didn´t hurt that he was the father of one of the cherished members of our office staff. Such a kind and gentle man. He will be missed. May fond memories sustain his family.

RIP Uncle Jim. I will always remember the good times fishing with you and Grandpa especially the time you took the fly out of his lip with a rusty pair of pliers while the browns were running on Snowshoe Creek.
We will meet again on the other side. I will miss you.
