Wayne and I served together in the 1/178 FA. During all the military camps in the swamp of Ft Stewart Ga I never met anyone who loved it more than Billy Wayne, he was a perfect model of a hung ho night crawler. I have a great deal of respect and will miss him

Wayne was my brother, as a Mason and a Veteran. The short time I knew Wayne he became more like family, than friend. His absence leaves a void that cant be filled, but his life is a celebration. I miss you my brother.

Wayne was my brother in more than one way. As a Freemason He always wanted to depart Square. As a veteran, he loved this nation, its flag, and its founding. Wayne will be missed by many, his absence leaves a void, but his life is a celebration.

Wayne, my brother, i can't believe you're not here anymore. I know you got your wings, .
The last memory of wayne was about 2 hours before he passed. I was going to trim his finger nails, but he kept pulling away, and he would smile. So we just kinda started picking at each other laughing and smiling. Im so happy that my last memory was happy.
I love you wayne. I will miss you so much. Fly high my friend
