Carl Gott Obituary

Carl Randall Gott, born on September 12, 1947, in Reeds Spring, Missouri to Millard and Kathleen (Akers) Gott, passed away on January 6, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was a dedicated family man and a proud United States Marine Veteran. Carl is preceded in death by his father; wife, Karen Gott and a brother, Kurt Gott.

Carl's life was marked by his passion for sports, particularly as an avid Razorback fan and a talented basketball player during his junior high and high school years. His love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of water skiing and his membership at the Twin Lakes Golf Club, where he formed lasting friendships participating in the Men's Golf League.

Professionally, Carl made significant contributions to his community as the manager of Harps Grocery Store in Mountain Home. He also cherished the time spent working alongside his beloved wife, Karen at Country Mart in Harrison, Arkansas, where they created a welcoming environment for their customers.

Carl is survived by his mother, Kathleen Plaster; two stepsons, Scott (Lori) Manchester and Tony Manchester; a nephew, Cody Gott; five grandchildren, Ashley, Austin, Abbi, Jordan (Hannah) Manchester and Miranda Manchester and six great grandchildren, Silas, Lucas, Kobe, Koen, Kinsley and Harley.

Carl leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and community involvement that will continue to inspire those he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A funeral service to honor Carl's life will be held on January 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Riverside Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization Carl's family holds in high regard.
