Charlotte-Ann Azuma Obituary

CHARLOTTE-ANN AZUMA Charlotte-Ann Kaaiohelo Kaopuiki Azuma, 84, peacefully passed away June 3, 2025. She was born in Honolulu. Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Tsugio Azuma, Honolulu; her parents, Helen Edwina Kaniniu Hart Kaopuiki, Wailuku, Maui and David Kaaimano Kaopuiki, Sr, Halawa, Moloka'I; sisters Edna-Mae Kananionapu Sato, Honolulu and Piilani Kaopuiki, Honolulu. She graduated from St. Andrew's Priory in 1958, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology in 1971 from the University of Hawaii. She was employed at Armour Food Company until it was sold to ConAgra Brands where she retired as Director of Purchasing. Charlotte is survived by her brother, David "Bucky" Kaaimano Kaopuiki (Lily); nephew, Kris Kalani Kaopuiki (Leslie); niece, Yuri Launa Kaopuiki; a grand niece and nephew; cousins, and hanai sister, Dora Johnson. The family is grateful for Charlotte's wonderful caregiver, Irene Redoble, who made her final days peaceful, and for Malama Ola Healthcare Services for providing hospice compassionate care and support. Burial will be at Oahu Cemetery. Private services. Arrangements Provided By: Oahu Mortuary
