Debary-orange Park, Florida - Kathleen Cole Gomez, 74, twin sister to Regina, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, born in Coral Gables, passed away on July 10, 2025, 3 weeks shy of her 75th birthday with family always by her side.

Kathy was from a large Italian family where she learned how to pray, cook, inspire and create art. Her Catholic faith started the day she was born and even as her health declined she kept her faith close.

Her husband Leo Gomez, parents Jean DiCamillo Cole & Edward Cole, grandparents Rose & Frank DiCamillo, Salvatore Pernaci, aunts, uncles & cousins preceded her in death.

She will be truly missed by twin sister Regina Cole Huni (Carl), sister Joann Pernaci, nieces & nephews Cindy Newsholme Victorelli (Matt), Anthony Newsholme, Suzanne Pernaci Groover (Jeremy), Craig Pernaci (Whitney) and great nieces & nephew, 1st-2nd cousins of Vallone, Medoro, DiCamillo and SanGiovanni families. Loved by best friends Mike Wrase, Becki Litman, Peggy Neuberger Bass, Barbara Seleski, Ellen Marion and Linda Keith Hadden who kept her spirits strong in her final days.

Kathy will always be remembered for her grace, good deeds and faith she shared. Mass and Memorial services were held in Orange Park July 14 & 15th with services planned in Miami and Debary at a later date. Friends from Coral Park Class of 65-68 can view information when available on Coral Park FB or contact Regina @ 786.351.7742.

I am so sorry to hear about Kathy! My condolences to all family and friends.
Kathy was an extremely talented person. She was never one to brag about her art/talent which made her even more unique. She was very warm hearted and although I did not see her in recent years, she is a rarity - genuine through and through. She will be dearly missed
