George Gilbert "Gil" Kyle, Jr.

January 30, 1955 - July 25, 2025

Dr. George Gilbert "Gil" Kyle, Jr., age 70, of Buford, GA, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 31st at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Josh Meeks of 12Stone Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 30th, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins.

Gil is survived by his loving familyMisty, Kabrie, and Addison Kyle of Buford, GA; his sister, Judi August of California; and many other cherished family members and friends who will carry his memory forward.

Born in Bristol, TN, Gil graduated from Tennessee High School, where he was a standout athlete and a well-known member of the community. He gave back generously, serving his school, church and town with kindness and pride. After graduation, he moved to Atlanta to play football at Georgia Tech, where he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management followed by his Doctorate from Life University. He then made the Atlanta area his home for the next 50 years.

A passionate chiropractor, Gil dedicated his life to helping others through healing. He was also a devoted Christian, faithfully walking with Christ throughout his life. For the past 20 years, he was a proud member of 12Stone Church, where he was baptized and later recommitted his life to Christ on multiple occasions. His faith was strong and deeply personal, and he strived daily to live with the grace, love, and humility of Jesus.
