Rock Hill, South Carolina - Judith "Judy" Ann Carter Baity, 84, of Rock Hill, SC, passed peacefully at home on Monday, June 2, 2025. The family will hold a Memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Harvest Ministries Church, 1211 S. Anderson Road, Rock Hill, SC.
Judy was born May 14, 1941, in Rock Hill, SC, to the late William Neal and Mattie Cornwell Carter. Throughout her life, Judy was known for her compassion and loving heart. She was also known for her quick wit and sense of humor. A woman of strong faith, she made it her mission to live by the Word of God. These qualities made her a loving wife, mother, and special sister, dear aunt, and true friend. She leaves behind an impression on the hearts of many and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Burgin Baity, as well as her son, R. Bruce Faile.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Robin Faile; sisters, Lib Varnadore, Sara Walker, Lois Phillips (Bob), Becky Ayers, and Doris Emsermann, as well as her protective fur baby, Samson. Also left to cherish her memory are her nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Ministries Church, PO Box 3516, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
