Rock Hill, South Carolina - Lewis A. Foxx, 78, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at his home in Rock Hill.

Mr. Foxx was born on May 22, 1946, to the late Antonio B. Foxx and Beadie Mae Reinhardt Foxx, in Rock Hill, SC. He worked for 46 years with Star Paper Tube, which later became known as Carastar. Mr. Foxx loved his family dearly and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. During his life, he enjoyed hunting, cutting grass, and serving his church. His family fondly refers that he could be one of God's busiest angels, because he never stopped moving.

Mr. Foxx is survived by his sons, Danny Ray Foxx (Angela), Michael Wayne Foxx (Tara), and Steven Lewis Foxx (Jodie); his sister, Mary Foxx Carver; his brother, William "Billy" Foxx (Glenda); his grandchildren, Danny Ray Foxx Jr. (Alicia), Ashley Nicole Foxx, Adam Michael Foxx, Joshua Evan Foxx, and Jacob Steven Foxx; his great-grandchildren, Jason Foxx and Luke Foxx; and his companion, Cynthia Turner.

He was preceded in death by his late parents; his wife, Caludia Jean Hicks Foxx; and his brothers, Joey Foxx and Sonny Foxx.

A funeral service will be held for Mr. Lewis Foxx at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. The family will receive visitors prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park, 620 S Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
