Andrea (Aundrea) Patricia Maddox Lee was born on July 2, 1952, in Cleveland County, Hickory, North Carolina. She passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 72. A devoted military wife, beautiful spiritual soul, and lifelong learner. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. Andrea's life was one of quiet strength, love for family, and unwavering faith. Andrea was a long-time member of Prince of Peace Christian Church. She enjoyed reading the Bible, sewing, gardening, and sipping coffee on the patio. Her warmth and generosity were felt by all who knew her. While attending Morristown College in Tennessee, Andrea met her college sweetheart, David Lee. The two were married soon after, beginning a union that spanned 54 years. Though they did not have children, their bond was deeply rooted in love, mutual respect, and shared adventures; especially during their time traveling across the United States and Alaska as a military family. Andrea served with dedication in civil service, including the Lackland Airforce Base Drug Lab, before retiring after 27 years. She was a licensed realtor in Texas and Florida. Committed to personal growth and education, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Wayland University and was actively pursuing her Master's degree prior to her passing.

Andrea is preceded in death by her parents, Angelus Alexander Maddox and Mary Hall Maddox; her brothers, Jerry Lee Maddox, Rev. Alexander (June) Maddox Jr., Willie Carl Maddox; her sisters, Geneva Marie Maddox Ussery, Juanita Louise Maddox Dillingham, Mary Alice Maddox Hector.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, David Lee; brother-In-Law, Willie Gene Ussery of Hickory, NC. Andrea also leaves to cherish loving memories a host of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, as well as great-grandnieces, and great-grandnephews, many relatives, family and friends.

Andrea (Aundrea) Patricia Maddox Lee is and will be truly missed by all. And we as a family want all to remember and know that she was truly loved.
