Michael Larsen Obituary

Michael Ray Larsen, aged 78, passed away on October 23, 2025, in Logan, Utah. Born on August 30, 1947, Mike was known for his vibrant spirit and a profound love for the outdoors. He spent much of his life under the open skies, camping, fishing, and traveling, often surrounded by friends and family who cherished his company and his unique sense of humor.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Aura Dee; sons Yancy and Kelly; daughter Trina; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother Ed Larsen; and sister Beverley Madsen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Jean Larsen, and his sister Kathy Virgin.

Professionally, Mike was a skilled pipe fitter and welder, a career that took him across the country and allowed him to touch many lives with his craftsmanship. His hobbies included making copper bracelets, woodworking, and creating wind chimes, each piece a testament to his meticulous care and creativity.
