My deepest condolences to my spiritual mom. Love and will miss you. You taught me to believe, a strong faith and to be strong in 1981.and because of you and Pastor Osteen my husband is in heaven.

Mr John and Mrs Dolores would donate all there clothes to the star of hope dress for success just good ppl heart of gold God has reunited two angels together again.Good and faithful servant s job well done.

Back in the 90´s John & Mrs. Dodie came to our house & prayed for my sick brother & blessed our house .
My brother went home to be with the Lord in 92´ . We have been apart of Lakewood church since John was alive till now . We are Thankful & honor their legacy . I´ve seen God do a lot of things in our lives. We love the osteen family.

I wish I would have had the privilege to see her again before she passed. It was strange that I thought of her and beloved John, the day before she passed. The next day, I saw the news. I am so sorry she is gone, for me and the family. She and her husband were a gift to my family and were so gracious to us. On behalf of the Barrera Family, I am the only one left, we will miss her so much. God Bless the Osteen's and Lakewood Church. Joel, I know she was proud of you, for sure, and your dad is even more proud what you have accomplished for God. Thank you, much love, Jason.

To our Beloved Osteen Family, I'm Honored to have Known Mother Dodie and to be part of the Lakewood Church Families of Families and to serve in your STM Ministries I can Recall meeting Mother Dodie on Several Occasions at Lakewood and Witnessing her Beautiful Smile and also assisting as a Volunteer at Houston Methodist Hospital as she Visited and was a Patient, Your Mom was Certainly a Blessing to So Many and will never be Forgotten. Dodie mailed me two separate, handwritten notes in 1999, when I lived in Houston. I still have them. RIP and condolences to family and friends.

I watched Mama Dotie for many years as the broadcast was being done. Her life speaks for itself; she served many people and prayed to Jesus also for their needs. God healed her more than once, and she survived, God has called his servant home. But those that have witnessed the love and compassion she had for so many we must continue in the faith and remember her in our heart.

I grew up watching Pastor John and Mama Dodie on TV. I was inspired by their teachings of Gods Word. They never wavered in their assignment to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My prayers and thoughts are with Pastor Joel and Victoria, and the Entire Osteen Family along with Lakewood members and friends. She will certainly be missed by so many!

Mama Dodie was very inspirational and helped me to remain faithful and true to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to the Osteen family may God's grace be with you.

A true woman of God, so gifted she remained humble and authentic. So many people have a story which they cherish and memory. Mine is special as well. I was in New York City when I received an invitation to a private reception with the Osteen family. This was so beautiful and ironic at the time was just a mile from the house on Mustang trail in Kingwood.
I honor her great legacy as a mother of Houston´s Lakewood Church. Her heart for people blessed and multitude the Osteen family remain in my thoughts and prayers, as they say farewell till that great gettin´ up morning on the sunny banks of sweet deliverance.

My mom Darlene King Surovik used to go to Lakewood Church when she lived in south Houston, TX. She was prayed for by Dodie when she went to the church. Mrs. Dodie will be missed and remembered by a lot of people.

Miss Dodie was the sweetest and so very precious. She was very inspirational to me. Rest in Glory.

I love Dodie and loved John. It´s been a long blessing to my life

13 Years ago I met Ms. Dodie at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the room off of the garage. My Mother, a believer, and prayer warrior, had just passed away very unexpectedly. I saw Ms. Dodie, introduced myself, and told her what had happened. She immediately put her arm around me and prayed for me and my family. It was such an honor to get to meet her, and to have her pray with me. I will never forget how God put her there at that specific time and place!! Praying for your family to feel Christ's perfect peace.

Mama Dodie, You Are a light to the world. Your light will still be shining down on us from Heaven as we walk the path without you. They say it is not the day you were born that matters. It is the Life well lived in between. Let your Inspiration and positive spirit be shared by all. May your Love for all of us help us at Lakewood to find Peace. They Lined the streets of Gold waiting for you. I hope that I can continue to live my Legacy by your examples and Love you have shown me and my Family to pay it forward. Love you and miss you already.
