I met Michael in 1971 and became close friends. He was the first friend I had met after moving to Southeast Idaho from Fresno, California. At the time I was only 13 years old and living on a ranch in Blackrock canyon. How we met I'm unsure. But we were the same age and went to the same high school. Mike was very athletic in high school and someone you could count on to be there if trouble presented itself. Occasionally, we would see each other at pool tournaments but as time went by those meetings became few and farther between. If anyone out there reads this, I would just like to say this one thing and that is Everyone in there lifetime meets someone who makes a difference and Mike was that type of person. Love you bro, Jack.
