Larry Voris Obituary
He is survived by his wife Dianna of 40 years, his children David (Leslee) Voris, Darrin Voris, Kris (Mark) Hubbard and Gail Proctor. As well grandchildren; Taylor, Tessa, Annalise, Dale and Dawson, Sister Sheryl Hunt and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents,his sister Dianne Carpenter, special nephew James Carpenter and his brother Terry Voris. Also several aunts and uncles.
Larry graduated from Michigan Center High School in 1965, served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home he earned his Master's Electrician license and his Master's Electrical Contractor license. Larry opened his own electrical company until he retired. He loved fishing, playing cards, watching sports, gardening, and grilling throughout the year no matter the weather.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services or gathering. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Henry Ford Jackson Hospice or Disabled American Veterans.

Larry was a neighbor and childhood friend of mine.
I remember many good times with Larry. But, what I remember most about Larry from our childhoods is how he patiently taught me the fundamentals of sports: baseball, football, golf and basketball. Larry was 3 years older than me, and now, looking back, it amazes me how at 12 years old what a good "coach" Larry was. I played my first round of golf with Larry; and once Larry and I built our own miniature golf course in the back yard. He was a great boyhood friend.
