R. Morton Blair

February 28, 1927 - July 18, 2025

R. Morton Blair, formerly of Charleston passed away on July 18, 2025, in Richmond, Texas. He was born February 28, 1927 to Max and Montaigne Blair. Morton honorably served our country in the United States Navy. For many years he owned Dorite Mnfg. Co. in Charleston before retiring to Sebring, FL with his first wife Joan Brandenburg Blair.

Morton is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and a daughter Janet Blair Tucker.

He is survived by his second wife Joan Samse Blair, and daughters Terry Wall, Trudy Mansfield (Tom), and Beth Wleczyk (Paul). Surviving grandchildren include Dan Wall, Jim Wall (Michelle), Tony Wall (Dawn), Maggie Graye (Mase), Joe and Elizabeth Tucker, Kim (Kevin) McCoun, Thomas (Margaret) Mansfield, Nick Wleczyk (Taylor), Neil Wleczyk (Angelina), and Nathan, Nolan and Noah Wleczyk. Morton had 7 great grandchildren-Marylou, Gregory, and Annabelle Graye, Eden McCoun, Avery and Rylie Wleczyk, and Thomas Mansfield.

He will be truly missed.
