Carolyn Bullock Obituary

Carolyn Sue Bullock, 76, of Jonesboro, peacefully departed this life on June 20, 2025, at her home. Born on June 25, 1948, in Pocahontas, Sue was the beloved daughter of the late Ray and Opal (Hackworth) Weitkamp. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sue's life was marked by kindness, warmth, and dedication to those she loved. She enjoyed quiet pleasures-taking walks, solving sudoku and crossword puzzles, watching Heartland, and reading. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially taking trips with her late husband, Ron, and making memories with her grandchildren. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edward Bullock; her parents; her daughter, Christy LeAnn Brown; and her sister, Sharon Kay Weitkamp. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Amanda Carmen (Gary) Beckman of Jonesboro and Melanie Suzanne Brown of Maumelle; her stepsons, Rob Bullock and Brian Bullock; her grandchildren, David Wesley Stalnaker and Dustin Lee Stalnaker; her sister, Anna Louise Walton of Austin; and her brother, Earnest Ray "Richard" (Rosann) Weitkamp, Jr. of Woodstock, GA. She also leaves behind several step-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends-and her faithful cat, Sam Barnie. A memorial service will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association: 225 N.
