Freddie Walton Obituary

Pastor Freddie Owen Walton, 68, of Walnut Ridge, entered into his heavenly home on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. He was born on August 18, 1956, in Walnut Ridge to the late Norman Ray and Emma (Snyder) Walton. He was united in marriage to Bonnie Neece on January 13, 2007, in Pocahontas. Freddie was employed at Frit Industries Inc. in Walnut Ridge for over 21 years and later as a farmhand for Crisler Farms. He was the Pastor of Full Gospel Church in Delaplaine, loved the Lord, and enjoyed hunting. In addition to his parents, Freddie was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Flanery. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, of the home; children, Jonathan Walton (Jessica) of Delaplaine, Freddy Jo Walton (Jamie) of Pocahontas, Travis Walton (Samantha) of Knobel; his step-daughter, Jennifer Coker (Jon) of Bono; siblings, Donnie Walton (Trish), Howard Walton (Robbie) both of Imboden; Kay Grooms of Hoxie, Sue Sells of Pocahontas, and Rosie Painter (Robert) of Imboden; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. Visitation will be on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services to immediately follow at 1 p.m. Al Feezor will officiate. Interment will follow in the Chesser Cemetery in Noland under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Darrell Crisler, Kevin Snyder, Johnny Flanery, Aaron Roberts, Brian Hixson, and Josh Walton. Honorary pallbearers are Freddie's children and grandchildren.
