Paula Cole Obituary

Paula Rena Cole, born on January 24, 1974, departed this life on March 5, 2025, at St. Bernard's Medical Center at the age of 51 years, 1 month, and 9 days. Paula had a deep love for God and found great joy in attending church. She was a devoted member of Walk by Faith Ministries in Trumann. Her passion for music was undeniable – she loved to sing and play the piano, guitar, and drums. A gifted artist, she could draw just about anything with incredible creativity. For several years, Paula ran a business in Trumann called Slice of Paradise, which she poured her heart into and loved dearly. She was also an excellent cook who found joy in preparing meals for those she loved. One of Paula's greatest joys in life was spending time on the softball field with her daughters as they grew up – she cherished every moment of it. She was a wonderful mother, and a loving grandmother, with her grandchildren being the light of her life. Paula had a beautiful heart and soul, touching the lives of so many with her kindness and warmth. She was one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. Whether fishing, cooking out, or simply spending time with family, she made every moment special. She is survived by her loving mother, Connie Davis of Trumann, her father, Leroy Cole (Barbara) of Harrisburg, her daughter, Erica Cockrell (Randy) of Harrisburg, two sisters, Stephani Brown (Bobby) of Jonesboro, and Bobbie Creasy (Henry) of Harrisburg, three brothers, Shannon Hensley (Erica), Joey Cole, and William Cole (Veronica), all of Harrisburg. She also leaves behind five precious grandchildren, whom she adored, Lacey, Lucas, and Jaci Reeves, and Noah and Gage Golden, all of Trumann. Additionally, she is survived by two nieces, Lonna and Chasity Brown, and one nephew, Justin Brown, all of Trumann, and several other nephews and nieces. Paula was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Katlyn Cole, and her grandmother, Katherine Davis. Paula's kind spirit, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will forever be cherished. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services have been set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisburg, with Brother Jimmy Stone officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Holly Springs Cemetery.

I remember Paula when she was very young, before she ever had kids. She stayed with her Grandmother in Weina and started out this life being very small with a lot of complications from birth. She made it thru and had children and grandchildren. We moved away a very long time ago. I'm sure her sister Stephanie will miss her very much.
She could count and spell long before she went to school. Her Grandmother spent a lot of time with her and was very proud of her grandchildren.
I wish the family well and want to say keep your eye on the prize of being with our Creator again someday.
