Linda Scussel
Linda (Goldberg) Scussel, 84, of Tolland, CT, died peacefully at her home on Thursday, July 24, 2025, surrounded by love and comfort, with her daughters by her side. She was born on November 9, 1940, in Waterbury, CT, daughter of Herman and Rose Goldberg.
Linda is survived by her children, Laurie Scussel (husband Djambou Garibachvili) of Orlando, FL, and Julie Ingenohl (husband Kyle Gouvin) of Glastonbury, and her cherished grandchildren, Emma, Jake, David, and Ana. She also leaves her sisters, Sherna Schloss (late husband Eugene Schloss) and Diane Cross (husband Dr. Alan Cross); as well as her beloved nieces, nephews and their families, including her niece Karen, with whom she shared a particularly special bond.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd. (Rt. 83), in Vernon, with a time to gather at the funeral home before the service from 10:30-11 a.m. At the request of her family, burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
