Betty Sirek Obituary
PIERCE – Funeral service for Betty R. Sirek, 94, of Pierce will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce. Officiating will be Reverend Gordon Bruce and Vicar Jacob Friedrich. Interment will be held at Prospect View Cemetery, Pierce. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, also at Zion Lutheran Church in Pierce. Betty passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the Norfolk Veterans Home in Norfolk. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Pierce is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her children; Richard (Vicki) Sirek of Pierce, Reverend Steven (Kathy) Sirek of Lincoln, Lynne (Dallas) Gansebom of Hadar, Celeste (John) Anderson of Pierce; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Leroy (Janelle) Fischer of Pierce; and sister-in-law, Linda Fischer of Lincoln.
