Ronnie D. Thompson, a dedicated husband and loving father, passed away May 4th, 2025, at the age of 77. He was born on January 1, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas. He was an Insurance Adjuster for over 50 years. He was known for his dedication and expertise in his field. He is survived by his son Lowell Thompson. He is preceded in death by parents Oliver and Lois Thompson, wife Carol Thompson, son Matthew Thompson. He will be remembered for his love of music, his love of aviation, and the joy of being on open water. He spent many years working with the Boy Scouts of America. He dedicated most of his life to playing the trumpet, participating in Senseney Music until his passing. A memorial service will be held at Downing & Lahey Mortuary, 10515 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209 on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm. The family requests any donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his name.
