Margaret M. Swanson, 94, of Lily Lake, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. She was born in Geneva, Illinois, on May 5, 1931, to parents, Lester and Irene Carlson.
Margaret is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Cindy) Swanson, John (Cindy) Swanson, and Thomas (Patricia) Swanson; her grandchildren: Christine Swanson, Eric Swanson, Andrea Swanson, Timothy Swanson, Kyle Swanson, Troy Swanson, and Patrick Swanson, and a church community of friends.
She is reunited with her parents, Lester and Irene Carlson, her husband of 37 years, Wallace Swanson, and her daughter, Joan Marie Swanson who passed in infancy.
Services were held at Grace Lutheran Church at 5N600 Hanson Road, St. Charles, IL on Monday, June 30, 2025. Interment was at Lily Lake Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Rebecca Circle Women's Group in Care of Grace Lutheran Church in Margaret's Memory. Memorials may be mailed in care of P.O.
