Leslie "Les" Emerson Martin, Jr.

May 24, 1948 - January 18, 2025

Les Martin Jr., 77, of Kenosha, passed away on January 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Leslie was born on May 24, 1948, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Leslie and Mary (Burg) Martin Sr. He was educated in the Brookfield school system. Les married Kathleen (Ruffalo) Schrei on May 1, 1981, in Kenosha. He worked for Snap-On-Tools, for over 33 years, including managing Product Promotion where he logged many miles to train customers, dealers, field personnel, both international and domestic. His hobbies included working on and restoring cars (his favorites were his 1962 Austin Healy and his 1965 Pontiac LeMans tri-powered convertible), grilling out, traveling (Maine and Mexico were two of his favorites), cheering for the Green Bay Packers, but most of all spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen of Kenosha; children, Michael (Carole) Schrei of New Hope, Minn., Robert (Nadia) Schrei of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., Chad (Amanda) Martin of Gulfport, Miss.; sister-in-law, Sandra Martin of Brookfield, Wis.; grandchildren, Danielle (Nick) Payne, Nikole (Garrett) LaBreche, Cooper Martin, Brady Martin; great-grandchild, Levi LaBreche; also included are many nieces and nephews.

Les was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fredrick; and his sister-in-law, Suzanne Gaffney.

A memorial gathering will be held at Kenosha Funeral Services on Friday January 31, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
