Paul F. Eberle
December 17, 1940 - July 21, 2025
TREVOR - Paul F. Eberle, 84 of Trevor, Wis., passed away peacefully Monday, July 21, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Burlington, Wis., with family at his side. He was born December 17, 1940, in Golf, Ill., the son of William F. and Marcella A. (neé Frake) Eberle, and grew up in Trevor, Wis. Paul graduated from Central High School in Salem in 1958 and UW-Madison in 1964 from the College of Agriculture with a bachelor's degree in Meat Science.
On May 2, 1964, Paul married Beverly J. Decot at St. Mary's Church in Richland Center, Wis. Paul and Bev started their lives together in Kenosha in 1964 before moving to the family homestead in Trevor in 1966. Paul worked for Kenosha Beef International for 38 years before retiring in 1999. Paul had many hobbies including gardening, woodworking, and fishing. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Wilmot Wisconsin and was a volunteer for the Trevor Fire Department.
Over the years, Paul and Bev had many family businesses including Eberle's Apiary, Eberle's Roadside Veggies and Country Store, and Paul's Woodworks. The Eberle's Apiary business started when Bev bought Paul a "beehive" kit for Christmas 1975. By 1977, in true Paul Eberle fashion, they had over 50 bee hives and were selling honey by the gallon out of their home. Many of you will remember Paul from his "live honeybee" displays at the Kenosha County Fair from 1978 to 1987. For Paul, it was always about interacting with people. He will truly be missed by many.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Beverly; five children, Michael (Linda) Eberle of Middleton, Wis., Mark (Lynn) Eberle of Salem, Wis., Scott (Ashley) Eberle of Burlington, Wis., Todd Eberle of Salem, Wis., and Melinda Walker of Trevor, Wis.; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Cassie) Walker, Justin Walker, Ryann Eberle, Jason Eberle, Aidan Eberle, Ian Eberle, Liam Eberle, and Hope Eberle; two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Charlie Walker; five siblings, Joseph (Rae Ellen) Eberle of Sussex, Wis., Martha Houck of Glendale, Wis., Catherine Wegener of Ogden, Utah, Barbara (Robert) Bauer of Delavan, Wis., and Mary (Dale) Stauber of Pewaukee, Wis.; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father William F. Eberle (1978) and mother, Marcella A. Eberle (1992).
