Belleville, Illinois - Lisa Barrow, 65, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, August 17, 1959, in Belleville, IL, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025 at her home.

Lisa lived and loved life to the fullest. She made the most of any opportunity that came her way. Lisa had a fun-loving nature that radiated positivity, generosity, and optimism. She was sure to make friends anywhere she went with her infectious laugh and personable smile. Her parents, Paul and Suzanne, owned Augustine's Restaurant in Belleville where she grew up alongside her sisters. She developed a love for horses and became an accomplished equestrian. In mastering the skill, she excelled all the way to competing with her beloved horse, 'Applause', at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Gardening was another of her passions. She took pride in nurturing all her beautiful flowers. Along with being a mother and grandmother, she also loved being a mother to her beagles, Skooter, Otis, and Lola. Lisa was an affectionate, caring, and loving person who cherished her friends and family so very deeply. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Augustine.

Surviving are her daughter, Adrienne Barrow of Saint Louis, MO; mother, Suzanne Augustine McNeely, nee Meyer; sisters, Julie Borgese of Boca Roton, FL and Paula (Charlie Jr.) Gitto of Chesterfield, MO; grandson, Jackson Barrow-Capps; nephews, Paul Borgese, Jordan Borgese, Anthony Gitto, Charlie Gitto III, and nieces, Alexandra Borgese, Suzanne Gitto, Amy Gitto.

Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Very Rev. Godfrey Mullen officiating. Interment will follow at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery, Belleville, IL.
