Jaryia Robinson Obituary

Jaryia Tivas Robinson, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 31. Born August 17, 1994, in Brevard, NC, Jaryia was the cherished son of Marshall Wilkes and Rosalind Robinson (Steven Benjamin). Jaryia's early years were spent in Brevard, where he attended Brevard High School. Known for his compassion and dedication, he was employed with TVS Vocational Rehab, where he touched many lives with his kindness and commitment to helping others. A member of Glade Creek Baptist Church, Jaryia's faith was an integral part of his life. His love for football was only surpassed by the love he had for his daughter, Ariyah Robinson, with whom he cherished spending time. Jaryia is survived by his parents; his beloved daughter Ariyah Robinson, and his siblings: KaiShaila Benjamin, Estevian Benjamin, Leyland Benjamin, Cynia Wilkes, Nyla Benjamin, and Kraigen Benjamin; grandparents, Cynthia (Tony) Robinson, Rosie Wilkes and Gregory Robinson. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Masha Roundtree, along with a host of aunts, uncles, and many other friends and family members who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harold Wilkes, David Benjamin and Janet Robinson. Jaryia will be remembered for his warm heart, his infectious smile, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Memorial Service for Jaryia will be 3:30pm Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Glade Creek Baptist Church.
