ANGOLA - Frances B. Malone, 99, of Angola, Indiana, and formerly of Shipshewana, Indiana, passed away at Lakeland Rehab Center in Angola, on May 7, 2025.

A lifelong member of both the LaGrange American Legion Auxiliary and the Pythian Sisters, she was also an active member of LaGrange Presbyterian Church.
Frances stayed active in her later years by participating in Silver Sneakers classes at the local Steuben County YMCA. Her grandchildren will fondly remember her incredible culinary skills, especially her unforgettable apple dumplings, which were truly one of a kind. Just as lasting are the memories of family summers at the farm, spent playing in the corn bins and fishing at Buck Lake - times that will forever be cherished.
On July 4, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia, she married Robert P. Holcomb; he preceded her in death on June 12, 1975.
On Sept. 6, 1980, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she married Wayne H. Malone; he preceded her in death on March 7, 2011.
