Judith Wilson Obituary

Judith Lee Wilson 78, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025 in a St. Joseph, MO. hospital. She was born September 6, 1946 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Alice and Charles Ellis. She graduated from Benton High School class of 1964, she then married Harold "Sonny" Wilson on July 30, 1966, he passed away on July 17, 2014. Judy enjoyed cooking many meals for the food kitchen, garage sales, watching her hummingbirds, planting her flower garden. She was a member of the Journey Baptist Church, the former King Hill Baptist church, and was a devout christian who loved her christian faith. She was preceded in death by husband, Harold "Sonny" Wilson, and her parents. Survivors include daughter, Heather (Randy) Richardson, and son, Jeremy (Sadie) Wilson both of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren: Marissa (Derek) Thomas, Andrew Richardson, Kaylee Wilson, and Derrick Wilson, and a great grandson on the way, her brother, Bill (Edna) Ellis, Richmond, MO, and her close friend, Betty Middaugh. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at the Rupp Funeral Home, Pastor Greg Dixon officiating. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
