Shirley Winn Obituary

Shirley Ann Winn 88, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at a local health care facility. She was born November 13, 1936 in St. Joseph, daughter of Rosabell and Emilo Bringus. She was 1 of 13 children. On January 3, 1952, she married Raymond Winn in St. Joseph. Shirley spent most of her life dedicated to raising her children and being a homemaker. She enjoyed travel and camping trips with her family. Shirley was a member of the former Carnegie Baptist Church and now Journey Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Winn Sr. in 2006, her parents, and her siblings. Survivors include: children, Sherry Cook of St. Joseph, daughter, Terry Strong of St. Joseph, Kelly (Michael) Thomas of Topeka, KS, Scott Winn of St. Joseph, Raymond Jeff Winn, Jr. of Elwood, KS, 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2025 at Rupp Funeral Home with Pastor Calvin Haynes, officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday at Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be follow services at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
