Laverna Lambrecht Obituary

Funeral services for Laverna "Pee Wee" Lambrecht age 93 of Lincoln, NE formerly of West Point, NE will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, NE with Rev. John Gierke officiating. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Laverna Eunice "Pee Wee" Lambrecht of Lincoln, formerly of West Point, passed away on July 24, 2025. She was born to Adolph and Wilhelmina (Beerbohm) Feyerherm on September 27, 1931 in rural Beemer, Nebraska. She was baptized on October 18, 1931 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Beemer, by Rev. M. Leimer and was confirmed on March 25, 1945 at Immanuel Lutheran Church by Rev. T.H. Hilgendorf. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and graduated from West Point High School in 1949. On September 17, 1955 she was united in marriage to Luther "Luke" Lambrecht at St. Paul Lutheran Church by Rev. Frederick A. Niedner. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, West Point. She had been employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank and Beckenhauer Law and Insurance. While in West Point, she was a member of Lutheran Women's Missionary League, St. Francis Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and VFW Post 4912 Auxiliary, and volunteered at the West Point Living Center. She especially enjoyed visiting and staying in touch with her friends and relatives. She is survived by her son Dale, daughter-in-law Jill, and grandson Logan of Lincoln, sister-in-law Gretchen Lambrecht of St. Joseph, MO, and 29 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Luther in 1998, brother Elmer Feyerherm and wife Velma, sister Winona Schultz and husband Norman, brother Orville Feyerherm and wife Olga, sister Aleta Blobaum and husband Duane, sister-in-law Ruth Beckenhauer and husband Paul, sister-in-law Betty Beckenhauer and husband Kenneth, brother-in-law Ben Lambrecht, and 4 nephews. The family would like to recognize and thank the staff and volunteers at Southlake Village in Lincoln for the kind and compassionate care given to Laverna for over 8 years.
