Dave Schick was good friend and an active and integral member of VFW Post 788, in Cedar Rapids. He was currently serving as Post Chaplain. Dave was a combat Veteran who worked tirelessly for Veterans throughout the community. On behalf of Post 788 we offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I have fond memories of Dave. We used to mess around in choir class, joking and teasing one another. I remember us being in the Regis plays. I understand he served his country and loved his God. He was gone too soon... may he rest in peace!
