Peter Fonda Obituary

October 6, 1947 - April 4, 2025 Beloved husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather passed away peacefully at age 77 in Los Angeles. Son of Paul and Margit Fonda, he is survived by his wife Judy, his son Daniel, his daughter Lauren (Jeff Gordinier), his grandchildren, Jasper and Wesley Gordinier and his Labrador, Sierra. Born in New York City and raised in Rockford, IL, he graduated from Michigan State University with honors. After a year in Aspen in the early '70s, Peter realized his dream of moving to Los Angeles, where he attended UCLA School of Law. A long and distinguished career as a litigator followed, including the founding of a prominent medical defense firm and its successors. A larger-than-life personality, Peter was a true bon vivant, book lover, sharp dressed man and rock 'n' roller. Everywhere he went in life, he made cherished friends and memories. As his favorite band the Stones sing, we will all "Miss You".
