Today is the one year anniversary of Carol's death. I still have a hard time knowing that she is gone. But a miracle occurred this morning: she appeared in my dream! God is good!!

My favorite moments with Carol were over morning coffees in her kitchen at Bethany. She was a compassionate listener. And so much more as I read of her life. God bless us.

Carol put up with my dumb questions during RCIA and had a great sense of humor. She met my 3 year old daughter a few months ago and I´ve never heard my daughter speak like an adult to another adult. My daughter trusted "miss Karen" instinctually. Rest in Peace, Carol.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved mom, sister, grandma and friend. I know Carol meant so much to so many. I have many wonderful memories of her, growing up as Lynn's best friend since the age of 4: making Santa cookies, cinnamon candy, baking, her advice and talks, her singing, and her kindness and sweet way of being. I am grateful to have been blessed to have her in my life for so many years and will hold the memories close to my heart. Love to all of you whose lives were touched by such a wonderful woman! I am thinking of you all and wishing you peace. With love- Amy Sergeant

Dear Joselyn Kids, Tim, Beth and Lynn,
My deepest condolences for the loss of your mom.
She was a beautiful person and I will remember her fondly - especially remembering the Santa cookies that she and Nola made yearly for the kids at Christmas. I enjoyed past conversations with her and grateful I got to speak with her on the phone last summer. My heartfelt sympathy to your family.
Peace, Anne

Carol was one of the most beautiful people I have cross paths with. Her humor, kindness, honesty, and heart are only a few qualities that I loved about her. She and I met through RCIA at the College Church at St. Louis University. I deeply admired her heart for Jesus. She had an honest and faithful relationship with God. She taught me that growing in faith is a life long process and sharing Gods graces is life long too. She will be deeply missed. RIP sweet Carol. Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all! Sending kindness and light towards her family during this time. Christ´s Peace to you.
