Elfriede MORGAN Obituary
Elfriede Morgan, age 96, passed away on March 28, 2024, in Palm Coast, FL. Born on October 20, 1927, Elfriede's life was marked by devotion to her family and a passion for various creative pursuits.
Elfriede met her beloved husband, Charles Morgan, in Wiesbaden, Germany, while he was stationed there with the United States Air Force. After his service, they settled in his hometown, Youngstown, Ohio, where they lovingly raised their four children. Elfriede was widowed after Charles's passing on December 8, 1994. Together, they shared a life filled with love and mutual interests, including traveling and antiquing.
Elfriede leaves behind a loving family, including her children Michele Morgan, Charlene Fabanish, son-in-law John Fabanish, Kathleen Mahony, son-in-law Brian Mahony and Peter Morgan. She also leaves a legacy through her grandchildren Lee and Cory Mahony, Danielle Reddick, and Kelly Donadio, and grand-daughter in-law Tammy Mahony. Great-grandchildren are Seamus Mahony, Arielle Mahony, Wyatt Reddick, Xavier Adkins, Sasha Amor, and Faith Cross.
Elfriede's hobbies extended beyond sewing and gardening to include reading, baking and decorating, reflecting her joy for creating beautiful spaces and experiences.
A joint memorial service for Charles and Elfriede Morgan is scheduled for November 24, 2025 1 p.m. at The National Cemetery in Cape Canaveral, Florida, where they will be interred together, commemorating a lifetime of shared experiences and love.
