Fairra B. Green, 97, passed away on Wed. Jan. 22, 2025, at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Sat. Jan. 25, 2025, from 10am-11am at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram, MS. Funeral Services are 11am at Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church. Graveside services are 1pm on Sat. Jan. 25, 2025, at Ephesus Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS.
Mrs. Green was born on Oct. 7, 1927, in Jasper County, MS to the late Charlie Green and Carrie Roebuck Green. She was a member of Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church in Byram, MS. Mrs. Green enjoyed spending time with her Quota Club and her church family.
Mrs. Green is also preceded in death by her two sisters, Joyce Harrison and Novella Pugh, and her brother, Tom Green. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeshore Congregational Methodist Church at 6880 S. Siwell Rd. Byram, MS 39272 or to the Ephesus Cemetery Fund at 3535 Ephesus Rd. Forest, MS 39074
