I lived in Red River for about 8 years during which time I was fortunate enough to work several jobs with " JEFFE" as I called him .. He turned out to be one of the best friends I ever had .. He was a good man and I only regret not being able to go see him again after I moved to Texas .. My condolences to his family.. There is alot more I could say but I find myself at a loss for words . We'll miss u Jeff..

I remember when we were younger and Jeff would get a group of us to kneel on our hands and knees so he could jump off his skate board and over us while the board went under us. He never missed and landed on his board. I love you bother!

My dad, Jeff Herrera, was a one-of-a-kind person. Known for his larger-than-life personality, quick wit, and love for his community, he made a lasting impression on everyone who met him. He was well-loved by his family and friends in Red River. He had a way of bringing people together, often with a good story or a laugh.
Although my Naval Service created distance between us, I´m grateful for the impact he had on those around him and the love his friends showed him over the years. As his daughter, I´m doing my best to honor his memory, and I appreciate all the support I´ve received during this time.
Rest in peace, Dad. You will always be remembered by the people who loved you.
Love,
Tonya
