Kathleen Foy Obituary
She was a devoted wife to Michael Foy and a loving mother to her daughter Jordan Cassoff and her predeceased son, Michael. Kathy's warmth extended to her son-in-law Peter Cassoff and her beloved granddaughters Sydney and Sawyer, who brought immense joy into her life.
Kathy was the daughter of Jane and late Robert Mears and shared a close bond with her siblings: Eddie (Lynn) Mears, Nancy Mears, Bette (Roger) Cramer, Steve (Linda) Mears, Mike Mears, and Sandy (Kenny) Nutt. Her love for family extended far beyond immediate relations to her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Known for her gentle spirit and genuine concern for others, Kathy had an extraordinary ability to make people feel seen and heard. She was the person who would pick up the phone just to check in-a simple act that meant so much to those around her.
Kathy found happiness in the simple pleasures of life and loved to watch tennis. She also carried the strength of a cancer survivor, facing challenges with quiet resilience and unwavering courage.
A memorial service celebrating Kathy's life will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ocean County Memorial Park, located at 280 Wells Mill Road in Waretown, New Jersey.
Kathy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her legacy of compassion continue to inspire those she touched.
She will rest in peace with her beloved son, Michael.

Kathy was a sweet lady and another mom to me. We grew up with her always taking us to sports practices and she would be at all of our games in her chair cheering us on. She will be greatly missed but we will cherish all of the memories.
